Teams
Grades 1 & 2 -
No team play - instructional stations are taught in one hour sessions on 6 Saturday mornings in January and February
All other Grade levels practice and play from November to March
Grade 3 -
Practices at IH Primary on 8 foot baskets (two one hour practices each week)
Games at IH Elementary on 8 foot baskets (scores are not reported and standings not kept at this level, no postseason tournament)
Teams are drafted by coaches usually 8 to 10 players per team
Grades 4, 5, 6 - (two one hour practices each week at various school and community gyms and a ten game season and single elminination postseason tournament)
Boys and Girls each have one select team at each grade level - a coach is selected prior to tryouts
Recreation teams are drafted by coaches - usually 8 to 10 players per team
Grades 7 & 8 - (two one hour practices each week at various school and community gyms and a ten game season and single elminination postseason tournament)
Recreation teams are drafted by coaches - usually 8 to 10 players per team
Team drafts by coaches are held after IH interscholastic school teams are chosen in early November
